Is a nonprofit 501- C- 3 agency focusing on the recovery of women suffering from alcohol & drug addiction. The ministry was founded in January of 1999 and opened a half-way house in Anderson SC. Seven years later we were blessed to take the ministry to a high level of long term recovery called Shalom Center. The center is located on 104 acre farm in Belton SC, which provides up to 9 months of ministry for women. We have 2 dormitories, classrooms, a chapel and a remote & peaceful setting to nurture and care for the women. In depth studies of 12 step chemical dependency & co-dependency are taught in the first 2 quarters and a work/study program in the 3rd quarter. Women who remain in the program for the 3rd quarter learn accountability and job skills by working at Remnants. At the end of their 3rd quarter, women may also move to Anderson and reside in a transitional halfway house, where they use new skills to successfully live life, they continue with group studies, meetings and are required to find employment, pay rent and be responsible members of our community. For more information or an application for entrance, call Shalom Center, Belton SC (864) 338-9875.

Remnants Antiques Gifts & Consignment began as a round table visionary idea, during a Shalom House Ministries staff meeting. We needed a means of financially supporting the ministry and believed that a thrift shop in Anderson SC would be our best location. Various ideas were tossed around and creativity abounded, joy filled the room with faith that God would bring it into reality. Months of praying and searching for a retail location came to fruition when a property owner offered to partner with us and provide the downtown location. The suggestion was made that we pursue opening an antique mall as well. By mid May of 2010 the Consignment Shop opened for business. With 3 weeks under our belt, we opened the antique mall the first week of June 2010. Needless to say GOD has blessed us with the location, the donated goods and the antique dealers to kick us into high gear with HIS plan and to glorify HIM and collaborate with the Anderson community
